Its easier than you think to be carbon neutral. Reforestation is a simple and effective way to offset the carbon emissions we all produce. Whilst it is better to reduce your emissions at source by adopting CO2 reducing practices it is not always practical or possible. 
Actually if the reforestation is sustainably designed and occurs in a warm climate the extra cooling effect of the clouds that the forest produces can be even more beneficial by a multiple than the carbon offset benefit.
